I've never had a bad experience with Torrid. I've managed to find some very good work clothing that doesn't look too young, but isn't frumpy either.

Torrid in Willow Grove Mall has the best customer service from start to finish,
The girls always help both me and my daughter find just the right clothes!
I find their clothes excellent quality and they last for years.

Pricey but worth it.

I’ve been shopping Torrid for years but only a few times a year. I’m a big girl on a budget. They are quality clothes though. I’ve never dealt with customer service as I’ve never had to return anything. I usually shop when things are on clearance and never have an issue with getting the discount.

All the reviews here are so negative so I thought I needed to drop in.
I've ordered from Torrid for about 3 years now and the order is always correct as I ordered.
The fit of most of the pieces are so good for me personally and mostly everything looks good on. Their leggings and tights are so comfy and make it enjoyable to dress nice for us plus-sized gals!
I don't return much here but there was 1 out of 4 times which my refund wasn't processed and I had to email the customer service but they fixed it right away. Customer service has always treated me well in the couple of times which I needed help and they were more than accommodating and friendly.
Most pieces are quality fabric and stitching which really last me as long as I wash & dry properly. I've never tried their shoes but I plan do.

I have bought from Torrid for years and like this brand a lot.

I had a great time at the torrid in Saugus Massachusetts Justina and Samantha were the best I had to return some pants I ordered online that were super long. The girls helped me find the perfect pair of pants only thing was they were super long also so they went ahead and ordered me two more pairs in a petite size we had a great time my daughter and I laughed we joked it was really a fun experience. Thank you girls, you rock!

Tori at the Lehigh valley mall in Allentown pa went above and beyond to make my shopping experience great! Even my 10 year old daughter said how nice everyone was in the store. I really appreciate good customer service and this service was great! Everyone was great but Tori really was the best! I love Torrid and she made it even better with helping me pick the perfect outfits for my upcoming trip.

This site has cute clothes but they're very expensive. Most of the time the clothes fit true to size but you have to read the reviews if any first for the product.
I noticed sometimes they fail to mention if a top if see-through or not. I fell into that trap a few times.
Thankfully they dropped their shipping price because for a really long time it was so expensive.
I get coupons sent to me but the problem there is. You can use a discount code coupon but shipping cost doesn't apply to the actual total cost! So you end up spending more than intended. Well done Torrid.
I ordered a tank top on clearance in "pink" and they sent one to me in "coral" which looked like an orange color. I hated it and since I couldn't return it, I ended up donating it to Goodwill. The color was ugly and not even close to what I selected. So if they run out of things they just give you whatever they find close to it in a sense.
The shoes run a little small for me I noticed.
I had to order a size up for a proper fit. I ordered heels for prom in a size 9 which I normally wear and guess what? Too small! So I had to pay overnight shipping which broke my wallet on top of prom! And had to get them in size 10, which fit.
So I guess my reviews are mixed but Torrid isn't my first choice for cute plus sized clothes.

Really the best selection of cute plus size clothes. Significantly more cotton and rayon options than competitors. Clothes are typically good quality (but occasionally have designs easily damaged in washer) clothing, the majority of shoes are not great quality - but they are also one of the few stores I can find boots that fit my calves.
Prices are generally excessive - but they have a number of excellent sales.
It is inconsistent whether you can leave a review - which is frustrating.

I'm forever grateful for excellent customer care and quality clothing.
